January Tooth Powder Tins. Fifty years of tooth powder tins, dating from the 1890s through the 1940s.
February Dentist Bear. Battery-operated Dentist Bear with drilling handpiece and Crying Bear, circa 1950.
March Toothbrush. Taub's patented toothbrush, early 20th century.
April Dental Cabinet. This cabinet, one of 300 manufactured between 1930 and 1933 by the American Cabinet Company, was modeled after an actual house in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
May Extracting Instruments. Parts of an extracting instrument set made in 1835 by blacksmith Henry Harrison Dean. The instruments were used by his son, James Dean, who practiced dentistry and medicine.
June Toothbrush. Branches of trees have been handmade into toothbrushes in some cultures. Surprisingly, this method is still practiced in some parts of the United States.
July African Mask. This life mask represents the custom of filing. As practiced in Africa, this may have been an attempt to intimidate enemies by creating a ferocious appearance.
August Dental Instrument. Penknife-style pocket dental instrument, which includes a pelican, a goat's foot elevator, a screw elevator and a straight elevator, used for extracting teeth, early 19th century.
September Dental Chairs. The National Museum of Dentistry's Spectacular Tower of Chairs, spanning the museum's two floors of exhibits.

November George Washington's Dentures. Set of dentures made by John Greenwood for George Washington, greatly altered in 1798 at Washington's direction.
